The name is Marble
Over the past couple of months I have been research and reseaching how what elements I want in my dream house. One thing keep cropping up MARBLE. Also I have a shoot coming up where the client wants marble wallpaper and props so my interest in the texture is massively growing.
So I have decided to deadicate this post to all marbleeeeee things. On a side note while doing this post, I have ordered a marble skin for my phone and one for my macbook pro, I will show you once they have arrived.

Interior Tuesday - Mancave volume two
WOODEN MAN CAVE.
I do love the look of clean, minimalistic simplicity interior design. as seen in my first MANCAVE blogpost.
http://harveyandlife.blogspot.co.uk/2016/01/my-dream-homei-will-have-it-one-day-i.html
But on the opposite end I love alot of mixtures of textures and "random" placement of elements within a space. I find this too tricky to do myself, I admire people that collect loads of stuff over year but it does not seam cluttered ...busy yes! but in a good way.
I was searching the internet and interior magazines for ideas and imagery.
I found some dream ideas. But my favorite seams to be the rooms that had alot of wood and large paintings/ prints placed on a bare textured wall.
I love the idea of exposed walls but in the UK with the weather we have seams like an expensive heating bill ( Yorkshire blood in me says that is a waste of money haha).
Needless to say here are some images.

YES YES YES YES YES. This gave me an idea to have a room with a bed that has a large wall mural or screen print of an image I have taken, in fron tof this the bed will be placed.
Behind the wall OBVIOUSLY a walk in wardrobe....booom
It seams like the large open window flows through my interior vision. Being a photographer natural light is always the best form of illuminating a space.

My dream home..I will have it one day ....I will have it one day
Getting to the point of wanting to own a house. I keep looking at how I would want to decorate my new man cave.
If there was no budget invovled and i had to describe it in a few words it would be:
- Minimalistic
- Futurist via Technology
- Grey tone with wood textures.
- pictures everywhere ....obviously- check out my instgram to see my rented mancave ( follow me if you life) - bit.ly/1Jm086X
Think Tony stark apartment ( off iron man) who has an Scandinavian wife that decorates.
Im lucky because Eefke ( the lady) has a similar thought process to me. I love going into home decoration shops becuase we both look at the same things. Trying to find something with Huge windows and wooden floors with exposed walls in yorkshire maybe a big dream. But i cant dream them I have nothing to aspire to.
Lets see what the future bring. I best start working hard....BRING IT ON.
