One of my first shirts I bought was a cheap in the sale NEXT blue Oxford shirt for something like £6.
I still have it but its used a casual under jumper shirt.
I own three nice blue Oxford shirts all different shades. I believe it is an essential, it is a shirt that can be warm with jean, smart blue trousers, grey trousers or a camel/cream trouser. It has a timeless quality so even if you spend big it will stay in fashion for a long time.
